XAV-601BT & Xperia J ???

Is there a way to get the Xperia J to work with this stereo's mirrorlink??

I plugged it in and the stereo says it doesn't recognise the device...

I just find it silly that a SONY stereo doesn't recognise a SONY phone..

Only one working with it right now is the Z

Funny thing though the box shows a picture of a Sony phone that isn't the Z so whether it will ever become useable with the P J S etc I don't know, my X10 returned the same message you got, lucky for me I held off upgrading my phone until one came along that 1 wasn't an Apple and 2 didn't feel like a toy, even the S3 isn't always able to run it, some S3's simply give you a message to say the Drivelink app isn't compatible with the phone, the Z works great with the 601BT though, I got it road tested at one place then ordered one on the upgrade route, I would've bought from the shop who demo'd for me but they didn't do my network and wanted £69 upfront, got it for £0 & £36pm on the one plan and you need unlimited data if you want to run the sat nav all the time on the phone.
