My MDR 1000x suddenly does not work, and cannot be turned on. I have tried reset with pushing Power and NC buttons together, it still does not work. Could you help me with this.

were the headphones connected to a PC/MAC via USB as stated by the help-guide?

You should also try to initialize the headset as described here: http://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/1000x/v1/en/contents/TP0001176175.html
