WH-1000XM3 Won't pair to Avantree Oasis Plus Bluetooth Transmitter

Hi,

My WH-1000XM3 pair fine to my iPhone & MacBook but for some reason they wont pair to my Avantree Oasis Plus Bluetooth Transmitter (which is connected to my tv) so I can watch TV wirelessly with my headphones.

The strange thing is I own the old model to - WH-1000XM2 and they pair fine to the Avantree no problems at all.

I've tried factory reset, latest software updates EVERYTHING!

Any other suggestions?

Hello @davidbfranks,

if I am not mistaken the WH-1000Xm3 uses a different bluetooth-version for connections, therefore this could be the reason it doesn't work.

I for my part can connect my WI-1000X (same genertation as your WH-1000Xm2) to my TV, yet I can't pair my new WH-1000Xm3.

This makes me assume my TV is simply outdated and I need to buy a bluetooth dongle as well - just a newer one which supports the latest standards.

Hi Nic,

The Bluetooth version is 4.2 on the headphones and the transmitter so that logic wouldn’t apply here.
