Sony PS-HX500 speed issues.

My sony ps-hx500 turntable rotating too fast. Actually, speed is 33.94, what is 1.81% too fast. Solution to the problem? Two months ago I asked Sony support. I look forward to now. Apparently, I wait until the end of life. Super good Sony products support. Already I regret that bought a sony....:(

Hi, you can use a isolated flat screwdriver under the motor to adjust RPM 33 1/3 and RPM 45.

I made a video on youtube: "How to adjust the rotation speed of your Sony PS-HX500 turntable".

Now, I have a almost perfect speed !

Assuming your platter mat and the drive belt are the originals, check with a bubble level to ensure your turntable have the right level for accurate tracking. If you have a defective drive belt, replace it. Make sure your drive belt it is not twisted. By the way, how did you exactly measured the speed? With a smartphone app?
