      <description>&lt;P&gt;I know this may sound a waste of time.&amp;nbsp; I bought a Sony hi-fi at a Car Boot Sale. (Told it worked) but the CD reader "says Can't read CD" Should I just throw it away - I did not pay a lot of money for it. - Which should have been a hint!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;did you try with a CD or CD-R? or both?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if both doens't work then yes the lens is probably defective&lt;/P&gt;</description>
