Sony 6300 Auto Focus Problem

Hi, I'm new to the camera and travelling at the moment with a problem with auto focus. To ensure it focuses properly I have to refit the lens after turning the camera on. If not, the focus doesn't seem to want to work but after reseating it works okay until I turn it off and on again. Any thoughts?

There could be a number of reasons why the AF is having a problem locking. You can find some more information on how you can resolve these issues here.
