topic A7III Factory Screen Protector in Alpha & NEX interchangeable lens cameras

Anyone know if the A7III comes with a factory screen protector that you can just peel off - like the A7II & A7RII? Couple of videos on YouTube showing how these start deteriorating after some time and can just be peeled off and replaced with a fresh new screen protector.

Hi there,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

I'm not sure of this. Perhaps someone in the community who has the camera would be able to answer your query.

Best wishes,

They only come with the normal film covering the screen - I have never heard of manufacturers providing them (other than the Nikon clip on covers that used to come with the more expensive DSLRS).

There are plenty of options out there for third party protectors that do a good job while retaining touch ability.

Sony do however offer a screen protector and in UK the link is here:

https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/cyber-shot-compact-cameras-other-accessories/pck-lm15
