Hi everybody

I need some help regarding the Sony RX0. I need to setup a timelapse that will be recording for around two years, one frame an hour 24/7/365. Is this at all possible on the RX0?

And will I be able to download the footage contiously via the wifi without touching the camera?

Hi @dennisolsgaard,

to my knowledge it is not possible to do this with the RX0, at least not without additional equipment (e.g. the network control accessory).

Since you would shoot 17520 images in total, I would say the FDR X3000 would be the better option to go with.

If you connect it to external power via a USB wall plug, set the timelapse interval to 60 minutes and the total amount of images to 'unlimited', it could shoot these images in 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels).
