HX60 Multi Interface Shoe

I have a Sony HX60v which has a "multi interface shoe" on top.

What external things can i attach to it?

Can i use any flash that fits on? (I dont want to spend so much on buying a real sony flash)

Which external mics can i use besides the 2 very expensive ones i found on sonys website?

Hi @ozzie-I, welcome to the Community.

Thanks to its multi interface shoe, your HX60V will take a hotshoe mic, as well as the more conventional 3.5mm jack-plug type. If you search your camera model you will find a wide range of both available from multiple manufacturers, as well as premium ones from Sony of course.

Flash is slightly more difficult but again, you are not restricted to Sony units. Make sure the one you're looking at has the very recent type of multi interface shoe, as older versions may not work, and you should have a decent range to choose from.
