Hi arsolli - welcome to the Sony Forums.

This sounds like it could be a physical problem with your camcorder. If you have a Mini-DV head cleaning tape, try that first of all as there may be some kind of blockage/dirt around the tape mechanism.

If this doesn't work, I would advise contacting Sony customer services. Once you have told them the error code, they will have some options to check through and if necessary, they will be able to advise about a repair. Have a look at this message for more details:

I know this will sound silly, but it seems to be the only thing that sometimes works. It used to work on older models and I am not sure if it will help you.

Take out the battery, turn the camera upside down and give it a good sharp smack on the bottom!

This seems to work in a lot of cases.

Sometimes these old fixes are worth a try - it probably dislodges some debris as you have suggested.
