FDR-AX33 Camcorder

I purchased the AX33 last week and am pleased with the video quality but I understood there was an option to capture a still image from a recorded 4K movie at 10 megapixels. The option to do this does not appear on my cameras event screen when playing back a movie. All the advertisments for the camera and retailers dexcriptions indicate that this is possible. I'd be interested to hear if anybody else who owns the camera had been able to capture a still from a movie.

Hi Austin,

It’s only possible to capture a still image if the movie has been recorded to the internal memory of the camcorder (e.g. not possible to capture a still image from the memory card).

It works for me, but the stills will be in a different folder when you download to your pc.
