Hi Timlaw7,

I guess you might need to send her to the Sony central services at pencoed. I would recommend contacting them first before sending her to make sure they can do the needed service for the camcorder. You can find their contact details here: http://bit.ly/2xDiL4G.

Regards,

Almou_10

Help please. I bought this old girl over 20 years ago and she's been left idle completely for well over 10 years. Having rediscovered her very recently ,image my delight when I plugged her in to charge she fired up first time and played the hi-8 tapes perfectly. Unfortunately this didn't last and there's a variety of different problems with her on play back . All the cassettes roll well and I have tried all the tips I have seen on this forum but I still have either a total blue screen and no sound or a picture with horizontal blank stripes across the picture and sound depending upon nothing in particular. Press visual fast forward and a very rough image can be seen.

Anybody have any ideas. She probably wants a good service and I live in the Oldham area of the UK so any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Tim
