Sony FDR AX33 - Stuck UV Lens how to remove?

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has the same camera as I have?

I also have the Amazon Basics UV 52MM Filter on the front to protect it from the elements, but I want to take it off to give it a clean, trouble is I'm having trouble removing it, I even brought the "Clamps" to try and budge it but it's not happening.

Any ideas?

stuck filters are always unfortunate.

Have you seen how Adam Savage (you may know him from Mythbusters) removed his stuck filter?
