    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Im wondering whats the normal temp on a397xp. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WIth battery I get around 50...after 10 min- just surfing. With El-cord plugged 59-up to 64., then the fan starts and Ill stay on 60 ...this with only surfing on the net- no games playing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have used mobilmeter. Is this normal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nothing dramatic there but for an Intel Pentium M Processor 760 I would suggest that you are on the upper limits of acceptability. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How old is the notebook – possibly the cooling vents require cleaning.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could always try changing the CPU control to adaptive (for the battery profile).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Is that to much richie or normal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I get around 55 on adaptive mode- and thats not to bad. &lt;BR /&gt;67 Is the highest I had, but this is what mobilmeter say,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Been on for about 3 hours - and Im on 60 c right now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I got worried when I saw the temp at 78...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SHouldnt this pentium cpus be much cooler. Like 40-max.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone with a vgn a-serie like 397 or 497 haveing this temps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
