There is nothing in the start options or services tab of msconfig that covers this.&lt;BR /&gt;However Windows has a glitch, insomuch as although these processes are running they occasionally fail to appear.&lt;BR /&gt;One workaround, if it is not visible in the tray, is to log off and then log on again ¿ not very convenient but it usually works.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

It has finally removed the last few critters left over from my previous attempts to remove Norton. I am so impressed and this tool may be so useful I think it needs to be in my signature.:smileylaugh:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Zina - have a look at  AVG free. The main advantage it has over Avast is fast automatic updates every day. I do nothing and my machine stays right up to date.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try: Start&amp;gt;Start up (right click then open) then once startup is open go right click again, then follow Sebs  info.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
