Damages in display surface after cleaning?

Hi,

I cleaned my display with a tissue. Now I think I have some damages in the surface. Any ideas what I can do (except changing the display)?

I tried to make a photo. It's not very good, but I hope you can imagine, what I mean:

Photo

Thanks for your help!

Wow that photo is cool.

Now for the problem I would use some screen wipes to clean the smear off. Wilkinsons has some good ones.

Hmm. If they are just smears, try wiping it with a soft cloth and some lens cleaner (not ammonia based!).

If they are scratches, they will take some more heavy-duty cleaning.

It is difficult to tell from the photo, sorry. A paper tissue shouldn't scratch the screen too much, so they are probably surface smears.
