    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi James&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The Sony PCWA-A320 will allow a connection to be made another computer that has an exsisting internet connection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To access the internet this device would need to be connected to the computer whilst switched on, or directly to an adsl modem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you were looking for an all in one solution D-Link (whilst it does not look good) has an all one one box. In order to use this function do I have to buy the following product:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sony VAIO 802.11g Wireless LAN Access Point PCWA-A320 &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Will this allow me to connect to broadband without using wires?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for your help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;James&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

As I do not have a desktop PC connected to the ADSL modem I was thinking of connecting the LAN access point I mentioned above direct to the modem. I only mentioned the Sony product because I have been offered a "Sony refurbished" one from a friend of mine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So if I connect my GRT notebook to the sony LAN access point mentioned above and if that was connected direct to my broadband modem, I could connect to the internet wirelessly - yes?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; James&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi James&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have just been looking at the specification of the Sony AP (Access Point) which can be found &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.backoffice.be/shop/information_extended.asp?pkga=E20&amp;amp;pkgb=03" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It looks as if it would, although it would depend on the modem having an avalible RJ-45 connection and behaving as a router, do you know the make of the ADSL modem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Chris&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
