Pointing device (Synaptics) update

Vaio Care keeps advising me I need to download this update but every time I try I receive a message informing me the download is not available and to please try later. I am not very impressed as I have tried at least 6 times without success and unable to obtain email help from Sony due to "maintenance"!

Hi there

Is it just today that you receive that message or has it been happening over a period of days?

If its only happened today then its quite possible that maintenance is the cause.

(Most of us are volunteers and don't work for Sony, so I don't know any actual details of planned maintenance)

If you pm me the link or details of the driver I'll have a go and see what happens

Hi, I have the same problem but this one is two fold! Vaio care is telling me to update the two drivers below.

1st I'm trying to update driver below driver starts to download but then stops and won't complete.

2nd having given up on the link above I downloaded the next, ran it then the laptop crashed and windows ran recovery. (Not running this one again, unless it failed due to the 1st not being run? but no warning to this effect?)
