Software for Intel Wireless BG

Hi ALL

I have just got a sony VAIO A197VP and am looking for the Wireless application software so I can change SSID and Encryption details.

I have disabled the Microsoft Wireless Zero Configuration service becouse it just don't like the Wireless cisco card I have.

I have looked on the Intel site site but it just say's contact Sony:smileysad:

Well Sony support has not changed one bit... It's still cr*p.

I found the Intel driver and the Intel ProSet application on dell's support web site. The download file is 27MB in size.

Sony must think end users are bunch of idiots, and any applications that changes systems setting or device setting should not be supplied.

I was even told that I would not get Software support because I was running XP SP2..

Sony, nice machine poor support¿..

Not really suprised they don't support SP2, it's a bit too new for them, people need to test it, write documents and analyse it's performance on VAIO machines.
