Hi all,

Has anyone had a problem with their CD writers within their Vaio laptop?

Mine is fine - except when I try to back-up audio cds. It will create the cds ok and run on the laptop, but then they don't work on regular audio equipment.

What makes it even stranger is that the full track list can be seen on audio equipment and the first track will play, but it can't get passed the first track.

If anyones had this problem let me know!

I've tried to create an esupport account, but the page keeps crashing!

i'm having similar problems, i can burn cds but the drive will not read them unless i reboot. if i subsequently eject and re-insert the same cd i need a further reboot for it to recognise it!

there is a firmware upgrade for the drive via http://www.vaio-link.com/. though this hasn't helped, could anyone offer some assistance?
