Hi there,

We have just bought 2 new Vaio laptops - I have an i7 E17 & my partner has the i5 E14 mentioned above.

Both have dedicated graphics cards - 2GB Radeon HD 7650M in the E17 & 1GB Radeon HD 7670M in the E14.

I have no issues with the E17, it works perfectly & I have compared settings on it to those on the E14 - all drivers are up to date, checked through Windows update, the Radeon Panel & Vaio update. This is a brand new windows 8 laptop (2 days old) with very little else installed.

The problem is that when I try to watch a film in Netflix I am told that the drivers for the graphics card need updating - I can't watch any video at all.

As mentioned above, all drivers are up to date (I wasn't aware of any graphics drivers being updated either).

I have also tried forcing the Radeon & the intel 4000 to see if that makes a difference - but it won't work with either card selected for the netflix app.

I can't see a reason for this as mine just worked without any hassle at all.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Thanks

Tom
