Reinstalling OS

I would like to reinstall win7 to make more partitions in HDD. But unfortunately I lost my windows key on back side of my lappyy........

Please help me on, how find my windows key....is there any other chance

Hi nihardandela and welcome.

Your Vaio was sold with a Sony OEM version of Windows 7 installed. This version of Windows 7 never needs activation as a Recovery from the HDD or from Recovery Discs does not need activation. Consequently the Product Key on the bottom of your Vaio is not a valid activation key and cannot be used to activate any other retail version of Windows.

You can add partitions and resize using Windows 7 and this does not require a reinstalation of the OS. Just use Windows 7 Disc Management to add and manage partitions: -
