TASK MANAGER

Please could anyone advise ... my Task Manager no longer works when I press Ctrl-Alt-Delete??

My Platform is Windows Vista Home premium & it has worked in the past.

Try

Ctrl+Shift+Esc

as an alternative.

It could be that on a previous use of the Task Manager, you've inadvertently dragged it off the screen (or to within an inch of it's life!).

Try minimizing all and even drag the Taskbar down to occupy 0 lines of the bottom of your screen, then when pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC look for the top edge of the Task Manager window appearing on the far extremes of your screen.

Alternatively try increasing the resolution of your image, giving you more screen space for TM to appear within.

Right click on your taskbar and you should have an option to start from the menu that appears, hope this helps.
