VGC - V3S DVD Player

Hi there,
Can anyone kindly assist.
I have a VGC - V3S. Currently the CD/DVD Player using "VAIO ZONE" will only play .cda files from a CD.
It cannot play mpeg/mp3 files from a DVD -R/DVD -RW or a CD -R/CD -RW or even a DVD movie.
The CD/DVD Player can play all the above files using either Real Player/Windows Media Player or Win Amp.I also have Intervideo win DVD 7 loaded which also can play these files.
I also have loaded Ulead for creating DVD's (-R & -RW).
Can anyone advise if this program has changed the properties of the CD/DVD Player running under VAIO ZONE or how I can get VAIO ZONE to play all of the above.
The CD/DVD Player has previously run under VAIO ZONE.

Have you overwritten 'WinDVD for Vaio' with WinDVD7 ?

I think Vaio Zone in dependant on WinDVD for Vaio being installed.

I think that may have happened on installing Ulead.
Can you advise how I can reinstall Win DVD for VAIO?

I have re installed WinDVD for VAIO but the fault conditions still remain.
