Audio from Amp into Vaio. By i.Link???????

I want to bring the phono signal from my record deck via a Pioneer Receiver into my Vaio for processing using Audacity software. There is no Line-In socket on the Vaio. However, is there a possibility to use the i.Link connections that both devices have? Can one bring audio into the Vaio's sound card by that route? James

Hello, are you talking about an XL series Vaio? Can you therefore not use the phono inputs on the front panel, just ignoring the yellow video phono jack?

Hi there. No, I'm not using an XL Vaio, so I don't have those inputs. I have a TX series Vaio, and therefore only microphone and headphone inputs.
