My laptop keeps loosing internet connection every 5-10 mins, I thought at first it was my internet provider, but all other laptops and computers are fine in the home. I was told to turn the bluetooth off by someone and this helped for about a hour, but then it started dropping out again...anyone know how i can fix this annoying problem?

I think you should consider purchasing a wireless homeplug and/or powerline. Hopefully this would prevent you losing your internet connection.

Hi Jenny,

I would try taking the lapop to another Wi-fi spot, such as a family or fiends house and try it there. If the problem is persisting at another location then you know its your laptop, if it doesn't then it something with regards to your network setup at home. Even though other computers are working, this doesn't take it out of the equation.

If it does persist at another location, I would try re-installing your wireless adapter drivers. If this doesn't prevail your possibly looking at a fault with your wireless card. A Sony laptop repairer can sort this out for you at a decent price.
