      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi, my daughters laptop vaio vpcee2e1e wireless connection fails after approx 5 mins.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we have onother laptop &amp;amp; a home main desktop pc that have no problems with wireless connection.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it has the latest driver updates &amp;amp; i have uninstalled &amp;amp; re-installed the driver.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have even restored the whole system to factory settings (a fresh install) &amp;amp; downloaded all updates but the problem is still there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the OS is windows 7.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the browser is firefox.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i am now assuming that the wireless card is faulty &amp;amp; needs to be replaced but thought i'd ask someone who may know better before paying for the repair that i cant afford...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;kind regards, lee...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Are there more than one wireless SSID that is in range?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try to set the wireless router to channel 6 and all laptops at home at channel 6 too.
