Touchpad does not work

Hi!

I bought a Sony Vaio VPCEB4E1E. When I started it the touchpad does not work.

I have tried to install all the latest drivers for the touchpad and some other drivers aswell but nothing worked.

What can I do? can it be broken? Its a brand new computer.

Hi AnnetteOLeo,

Please open Device Manager and let us know what is listed under Mice and Other Pointing Devices.

Also, open Vaio Control Center > Keyboard and Mouse > Pointing Device and make sure that the pointing device is enabled.
