Heeey yaaa

My sony vaio broke down and I brought it to specialist and I guess he reinstalled windows and now I cant find Sony Media Gallery. I looked allover google but cant find it anywhere. Also keyboard shortcuts are working but there is no animation showing when I am changing brightness or pressing any other buttons.

Can anyone help me please???!

It looks like the 'specialist' has installed a retail version of Windows - not the Sony version which includes Vaio Media and the Utilities required for the Fn buttons to work properly.

Some of this software can be downloaded from the support site for your model but Vaio Media is not normally available for download.

Do you have a set of Sony Recovery Discs?

What model Vaio do you have?

What version of Windows are you running (XP, Vista, Windows 7)?

I managed to get media libary but the "VAIO" keyboard shortcut is not working. Yeah I guess he set up retail Win 7, and recovery partition is gone. I didnt get any CD`s with my laptop and on sony site there is only like half of the programmas that were preinstaled on my laptop

Did you manage to get the recovery downloads as I have misplaced my disks.
