    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you can get a copy off a mate of Norton System Works and run the One button check up or checkit whatever. Remove NortonSW after it has fixed the problem because it slows things down. XP should autodetect your external drive but try installing the drivers again manually. Otherwise move or delete the problem folders you mentioned in the earlier post and recover the C disk using the Vaio Recovery.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've a Freecom External Hard Drive (USB) full of data, and since completing a system recovery the other day useing the Vaio PCV-RS402 Recovery Disc, the external HD's icon is not showing. &lt;BR /&gt;So now I can't access the external HD.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anybody any ideas what I could do to resolve this problem please.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks in advance,&lt;BR /&gt;Skyliner.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
