    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;yes the cause could possibly either a faulty Inverter, backlight bulb or cabling problem, however as you dropped your vaio it may be any number of things..:smileysad:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe worth contacting one of Sony's authorised repairers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tto find contact details for Sony Vaio support..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:&lt;A href="http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/index.aspx?m=0&amp;amp;l=en_GB"&gt;Vaio support&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Under Log-in option 1: Enter your vaio models serial number, which you should find on the bottom of your Vaio.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then click Log-In&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once logged select Get In Touch&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then Click on the Out of Warranty tab to locate the nearest location.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after having fallen to the ground my fz29vn has a dark image, almost black with no shine, just can see some shadows bur when i turn it on a other monitor or in tv its all ok.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe some bulb damage or some conection?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;its expensive?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt; Fortunately, it was the inverter. Just open the LCD frame and plugged one of the two connections that were disconnected.
