Works beautifully.</P><P></P><P>When I connect my AOC e2243Fw external monitor, which supports 1920x1080 resolution, the Vaio does not recognise it as such and treats it as 'Generic Non-PnP Monitor.</P><P></P><P>The monitor works OK, but I can't get it to display 1920x1080.</P><P></P><P>When I try to change the resolution in Control Panel (Win 7), The highest resolution on the pull-down is 1600x1200, which the monitor will not display. The next option in the list is1440x900 - works, but way too low.</P><P></P><P>I know that the Vaio will drive an external monitor at 1920x1080 because I have another monitor that works fine. Just seems to be a problem using this monitor.
