Hi

I've got my sony vaio fz21m repaired outside warranty before sony recognized the issue, this thanks to consumer laws in sweden. My question is what will happen if the gpu fails again, will sony then repair it?

also I would suspect that a different GPU was used when your vaio was repaired..

Hi, i now saw that i posted this as a new thread, that wasn't my intention. if this could be merged to "http://club.vaio.sony.eu/clubvaio/gb/en/forum/viewthread?thread=55888#" it would be great

I really don't know if sony did the repair or my vendor did it, either way i think that my vendor must have had some sort of contact with sony. It's one of Swedens biggest computer vendors i would say. They replaced the motherboard and i really don't know if they used another or if it's the same.. Is there maybe a way to find out? Like in bios maybe?
