topic Stutter on startup ? in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/pcs-accessories/stutter-on-startup/m-p/32584#M52960 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>Hi,<BR /><BR />I have a Z series laptop &amp; overall very happy with it.<BR /><BR />However, when set in 'Stamina Mode' and powered on from a cold start (ie from full shutdown), when Windows Vista 'Orb' appears on screen (before user login screen) there is a short sound played (ie normal windows startup sound). <BR /><BR />On my laptop, the laptop 'stutters', while Orb in centre of screen flashing &amp; sound freezes.
