High Definition TV's Which is best for the money?

If that TV is not HD then it the most expensive analog TV in history. How can you really tell the difference and are there many Hign definition TV stations broadcasting in the UK as I'm still in Brazil and they have 3 HD stations here?

Thanks Seb. OK let me put it this way. If you won the lottery and didn't want to blow it all in a year. Which HDTV would you buy? Without the silly glass stand?

Sorry, I have no experience with things like these.

Mmmh, If I would have enough place, then I would prefer a video projector for home cinema. That is much cooler and the picture is much bigger. Projectors in the bigger price-class have HD resolution too, of course. I think for 2000-4000¿ you should get an excelent projector. Below 2000¿ should be a good price for a standard projector, But 1000¿ should be the minimum. For television should be a 17-20" TFT TV more than enough, IMO.

Philips has some nice projectors.

Once again Seb you have come up trumps. I saw that Panasonic HD projector for under a grand. Good call as one could pop round to ones drinkin mates shack and show off movies with the notebook under the other wing. Need clean white walls so that rules out my friends :smileygrin: Bunch of drunken bums......................

This forum is VAIO Pocket because of the Vaio Pocket music player, nothing to do with saving money.
