slow starting

hi
i have had my vgn-sz3xwp/c for a couple of years now and its getting slower and slower to start, i have been told that it is possible to remove some of the programs form the start up list to enable a much faster start time. could you please give me some instruction on how to do this please.

Hi,

ok the easiest way to do this is start, control panel, control panel home (top left), and under progams select start up progams. Here you can select the programs you want to diasable by clicking on them and in the bottom right click disable. Another way is to open Windows Defender and click on Tools then Software Explorer which then opens the same page
