Motion Eye Camera Problem

Hi everybody

I have sony vaio fe41z. I am experiencing a problem with motion eye webcam. Sometimes it runs properly but sometimes I receive this message : " An attempt to initialize the camera failed. Please check if another software is using the camera. " and I can not use it with both skype and msn. Is there anybody who has a solution for this? Thanksss..

Have you installed these updates: -

1. Microsoft Hotfix Package KB931812
2. VAIO Camera Capture Utility 2.2.03.11150

from the Sony Download Site here: -

This works for some users but for others it seems neccessary to either: -

Turn off User Account Control (UAC)
OR
Create a new Administrator User Account - it seems to work OK for a new user but not for an old one!!
