Has anyone else had problems with iTunes?

I've recently had my VGN-AR31S fixed by Sony. I put iTunes on to my laptop, downloaded the latest update and then proceded to download a couple of music videos. When I tried to play the videos they played for only a few seconds and then froze. The next thing that happened was I got an error message stating "Raid Vol 0 error, carry out a back-up".

All is fixed now, but the repair note states that the Hard drives had been replaced.

Question is, was it iTunes that mucked everything up or was it just a fluke that I got the error at the same time as I put iTunes on and downloaded the videos?

I'm afraid that Sony have already fixed the problem so I haven't a screenshot to show. I can say though, that my screen looked different to the one you linked. When I clicked on the error message, I got a screen showing 2 cylinders depicting the volumes, with one of them red showing the error. The only other screen I could bring up was one listing all the info about the volumes, with the status line say something like memory error. More than that, i can't remember.

I'm still really reluctant to try iTunes again because my laptop is set up beautifully at the moment, performing well and behaving itself...it's alive by-the-way :smileyblush: Nah, it's a beauty of a laptop though.
