Vaio Update 3 problem

Vaio update 3 for my TX5XN has never worked (3 months old TX5), it always says "URL non found". Never had time to do some researches and always downloaded updates online. However, I've seen that now, an updater version is available. Tried to install it, but installation hangs, tried to unistall vaio update and reinstall but same issue.

ANy idea?

Hi lellobello,

Some members have had success updating the Vaio update program by doing the following..

Downloaded the vaio update from Vaio-Link , then go to the folder that you contains the Vaio-update file SOAVUD-01451800-UN.exe (the name may be slightly different)

Then extract the files, something like win-Rar should enable you to do this, once extracted click and run the set-up.exe file..

You may need to run the extracted set-up.exe twice..

You're welcome lellobello..

Local cooling is still in beta at present and is not 100% compatible with Vista, so if your thinking of installing it would be best to wait until the full version is released, hopefully towards the end of July..
