Backing up System

Hi all

I have an AR21m at the moment, there is no problems with it, in fact it's running like a dream (touch wood!!)

Just wondered, is there any way I can back the whole system up via a Vaio utility, as it is at the moment, other than a 'Factory Reset' if things go wrong.

The reason I ask is that it has taken me hours of time and effort to get to where I am, with the programmes etc (129 in 'add/remove progs) including updates and the standard Vaio ones!

I know that on my previous Acer laptop, you could restore in the present state, or a factory reset.

I know Norton Ghost would do it, but i'm not really familiar with the programme.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Lee

Hi Lee,

One of the PC mags this month has Paragon Disk Backup (is that what it's called?) anyway it will make an image of your hard disk and let you burn it to DVDs - this is probably the best solution.
