topic Touchpad does not fully work in PCs & Accessories

Hi, the touchpad on my TX3HP provides many functions. Since I installed a logitech wireless mouse, only the basic functions of the touchpad (ALPS Tochpad) are in function. The software must be damaged. I found the ALPS touchpad software in the recovery partition. QUESTION: may I just copy the contents of the ALPS touchpad driver software folder into the respective ALPS systems folder? The device manager does not contain the alps, therefore a simple reinstallation of the driver via device manager is not possible.

Device manager is probably listing a PS/2 mouse, right click this and select update driver – have a look at this thread for instructions on installing the correct driver.
