PowerDVD includes an option to increase the volume for noisy environments &amp; notebooks (DVD's are normally quieter than other sound sources because of their larger dynamic range).<BR /><BR />The DVD readers are also about average for vibration noise but they usually quieten down once the disk has been recognised &amp; starts playing.
