    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;there is DLNA and DLNA...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it began with DLNA for pictures show, soon DLNA for music and video playing followed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this was using a server and a client.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Than throwing was added, i.e. use one device as a remote.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Older DLNA clients do not support the remote control and the throwing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the Sony range, the examples are Bravia TV 2009, 2010 models, and blurays and mediaplayers of those years, and the PS3.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Newer DLNA clients do support the remote control.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the Sony range, the examples are Bravia TV 2011 models, and blurays and mediaplayers of those years.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;More or less the same for TVs from other manufacturers&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The twonke forum that i linked to has a list of compatible devices.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Firmware updates COULD improve this (i think, DLNA is not a hardware thing), &lt;BR /&gt;but so far 2009 and 2010 models have not received this kind of functional upgrading through firmware updates.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Message was edited by: breedBenR&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Message was edited by: breedBenR&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
