topic mac address problem in Tablets

hi all

just brought my sony tablet s 16gb wifi and filling out registration form but it keeps saying my wifi mac address is invalid, ive taken the mac address from my modem and also gone through the network settings and found another mac address by going to properties and hovering over the connect using bar and a mac address comes up, sorry new to all this and probably not explaining it to well. i googled how to do it and followed the instructions but my tablet wont accept either one.

any help would be great

Hi there,

Tap on the icons in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Then taap anywhere in the top rectangle that appears. Then settings -> about tablet -> status.

Hi,

You can also find the wifi MAC address via the 'Wifi Finder' app. The MAC address is under the 'About' button (upper right corner)
