Hi,

I have anXperia tablet Z with a cracked screen. The LCD seems fine but the outer glass has crack and touch screen is no longer working. Do you offer a repair service in Ireland or can you send me a list of any approved service agents in Ireland that could repair this for me?

I had the same problem, i used a third party to fix it, it did an excellent job for less than 50% of what sony was charging,it voided my warranty but my device is older than the warranty anyways.

I have the same problem (cracked screen, LCD's fine, no touch screen functionality). The service agents in Buenos Aires, Argentina, are a joke; they want to charge me 70% of what the tablet cost me and it'll take 2 months to have it repaired, which I think is insane.

I'm trying to find a third party agent who'll do the job for a more reasonable price and in less time, I hope I'll find something!

You might find these links interesting, if only to convince you not to attempt to repair it yourself:-)

The music is quite soothing and the video several times normal speed, suggesting the job could take a couple of hours.

In the uk, home contents insurance often includes accidental damage, just a thought.
