I cant exit safe mode :(

I accidentally turned my tablet into safe mode and now i tried restarting it and its just back to safe mode all the time. I restarted it , turned off and on , tried turning into safe mode again and then restaring turning off and on what to do???

This can be caused by a defective volume down button. Could this be the case?

In this case, I don't know what can cause this behaviour. @Quester @uliwooly any thoughts?

Hi @Curnow1,

That is odd. Could you test the volume keys in Diagnostics just to make sure that they pass that test as well? You can find Diagnostics if you go to Settings > About device.

If it works properly in Diagnostics as well then you should go with Alexdon's suggestion and try software repair using PC Companion.

It's back to normal. I turned it off and started charging it.

I dont know what could cause it tho

Glad to know that its working, perhaps one of the keys was stuck.
