I'm having issues with the remote aswell, a couple hours ago it doesn't respond at all. Did the hard reset on the TV and swapped the batteries on the remote. Still nothing. Seems the decoder remote(third party) works in terms of setting the volume, changing input port and switching the power on and off. But I have no access to any TV settings or android TV.

If it's third-party it's probably not suitable for your Android TV.

I know, it's the original Sony remote that stopped working. It's 3 months old.
