I used to be able to use I-player but this problem keeps returning. I cannot use i-player at all now. When will BBC/Sony software support get their acts together and fix this annoying problem please?

My model No is KDL-48W605B, Serial No 6610003 manufactured 09/2014.

The only known workaround is to turn off the TV at the mains for a minute then once it's on, start the app and go straight to the content you want to watch, avoiding navigating the menu too much.
