RDR DC100 Unresponsive

Hi I have a RDR DC100 DVD player & HDD Recorder/ I am able to play back dvd's ok however the hdd is very slow to respond & keeps freezing - for example the title list will load but when I try to watch a pre-recorded programme - it will not play, also I am unable to record to the HDD. From the guide I can select the programme I want to record dut it just does not record. I have tried pressing the reset button but this does not make any difference. Is this problem fixable or should I just buy a new recorder - your advice please thanks

Hi there

Im wondering of the HDD has failed or begining to fail. I know you mentioned pressing the reset buttom, butmhave you tried the following?
