So I am trying to transfer data from my old Sony Xperia to the new model, my old model supported the Sony photo album and transfer assist, apparently when I look on play store now the new models aren't compatible with the apps ?! Anyone have any advice or a similar app I can use to easily transfer?

Back it up to Google Drive(just select the backup on the phone), and back all your stuff up.

Then on the Xperia 1 II, marvel at how everything gets transfered over, including texts, apps and homescreen setup, including folders and their positioning.

Just for photos, you have to use Google Photos on the new phone, instead of album.

I was pleasantly surprised when my backup and restore was done, and the new phone was like a chip off the old block, and had everthing in the right place.
